Walking into a “Cyberpunk 2077”-themed café in Bassbaba Sumon’s residence, it was clear that the SEA legend had ventured into another passion after checking every bucket list item possible for a musician. He started his career in his teens, becoming a cultural icon while revolutionising how the bass, as an instrument, is perceived in Bangladesh, and later collaborating with international musicians like Frank Gambale, Bob Franceschini, and Bubby Lewis.
