Brad Pitt's “Heart of the Beast”, directed by David Ayer, has been added to the lineup of the San Sebastián Film Festival, where it will screen out of competition in the Official Selection.

Johnny Depp’s most recent directorial effort, “Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness”, was recently showcased at the San Sebastian Film Festival. In a press conference, Depp discussed the nearly 30-year gap since his previous directorial project, 1997’s critically panned “The Brave”, according to a report by Variety.

This project is significant for Depp as it comes after his widely publicised 2022 defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard. The legal battle, stemming from Heard’s accusations of domestic abuse, ended in Depp’s favour, but not without affecting his career.
