After more than 15 years of speculation, Slipknot’s long-rumoured side project “Look Outside Your Window” is officially set to see the light of day. The album will be released as part of this year’s Record Store Day lineup on April 18, marking one of the most talked-about archival releases in recent metal history.

American heavy metal band Slipknot are marking the 25th anniversary of their landmark debut album with a special reissue of Slipknot (1999), featuring more than 40 previously unreleased tracks. As reported by Billboard, the deluxe edition will be released on September 5 under Roadrunner Records.

Drummer Jay Weinberg is parting ways with heavy metal legends Slipknot after a decade-long stint, as announced by the Grammy-winning band on their official website. Weinberg stepped into the role succeeding the original drummer, Joey Jordison following his departure in 2013.
