We're unable to say, Bravo!

We're unable to say, Bravo!

Now I am in a dilemma over to whom shall I write as the present government is not elected by the people and is least bothered about their feelings. They are trying to convince people that as the election was a constitutional necessity, they had no option. Awami League should not talk about constitution, since they have destroyed its spirit through the 15th amendment.

In the July 18, 2014 issue of TDS, Mr Mahfuz Anam's commentary 'A job well done' was published. In it, he highly praised Sheikh Hasina's government saying, "Of all things that Sheikh Hasina's government has done so far, the handling of the arbitration cases against Myanmar and India have been the most professional. It has been a job well done. Bravo." We also would have praised, but alas! In the harsh light of the unjust act of January 5, other things have become invisible. We are smarting from the wound and it would not heal until an inclusive election is arranged. So, we are unable to say 'Bravo'.
