With no differentiating factor to get biased by other than the team colours, he seemed to prefer the rat on the right, placed on a red platter, symbolising La Rosa's red jersey, rather than the orange one standing for the Dutch orange, thus predicting victory for Spain. He then meowed twice and purred once in the next minute, clearly declaring a score line of 2-1 in Spain's favour. Over the next 24 hours, he remained on a steady diet and defecated thrice. We predict three yellow cards in this match, and considering the devastating state of the last excretion, possibly a red one as well.

ENGLAND VS ITALY, JUNE 15
Anubis says, England will defeat Italy on Sunday's World Cup clash in a 1-0 victory.
When presented with the English flag, Anubis barked once and didn't even utter a sound when it was replaced by the Italian flag. It can be presumed that this won't be a very exciting game, with only one goal in it for England.
Despite the circumstances of his prediction, Anubis might not be too far off from the actual outcome. England will be up for this game as it is their first game of the World Cup and possibly the toughest fixture in the group stages. Judging by the fact that Anubis started wagging his tail excitedly when he saw Wayne Rooney on the television, Rooney might be Anubis' pick for scorer of the only goal in the match.
