Japan heatwave toll hits 80 in one week

An "unprecedented" heatwave in Japan has killed at least 65 people in one week, government officials said yesterday." 22,647 people were hospitalised. The weather agency warned that much of the country will continue baking in temperatures of 35 degrees or higher until early August.
