Swagata

She's a singer, a television actress, a theatre personality, a model, anchor – phew! We can go on and on about Swagaata's many talents but let's just say that she loves to experiment with her creative abilities. With two films and a number of television shows under her belt, Swagata continues to charm everyone with her beautiful smile and magnetic screen presence. This week the Star speaks to the multi-talented actress about her first film, upcoming projects and much more!

First film
I acted in my first film Linja when I was a child and later in 2006 I acted in Shotru Shotru Khela in the lead character.

Secret behind being a multitasker
To love whatever you do and to pour your heart into it.

Upcoming project
I have done a film called “Shuchona Rekhar Dikey” and a number of single episode dramas for Eid.

Childhood dream
To be a pilot. The word “boimanik” (pilot) was used in a popular children song written by my father. Every time I sang the song, my resolve to be a pilot became stronger.

Inspiration
My family is my greatest inspiration. But when I find that my whole shooting unit is working in perfect sync that also inspires me to give my best.

Favourite shooting spot
I love it if my shooting spot is somewhere around Moghbazar. But apart from that, when I have to go for outdoor shootings I love working in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
 
Something you are looking forward to doing
My first film was a superhit. I want to act in a similar kind of film which will hopefully be a blockbluster!
