2 killed, 5 hurt in Jhenidah road mishap

The dead were identified as Atiar Rahman, 45, and Shahriar, 18, of village Kaliganj in the district.

Police and witnesses said the accident took place when a trolley collided head-on with a sand-laden truck at around 11:00 am.

The injured were admitted to Kaliganj Health Complex.

The bodies were sent to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
