UP member Murdered in Bagerhat

Taslima Begum, 35, member of Khontakata Union Parishad, died on the spot as her stepson Rezaul and his three accomplices attacked her with sharp weapons at about 10am, neighbours said.

Her husband Abdul Hye Akhand and his second wife Helena Begum were arrested in the evening in connection with the murder.
