Channel i not aired in Rajshahi

Many citizens alleged that cable operators are releasing ntv instead of Channel i.

When contacted, Alauddin Raju, general manager of Flash Back, a cable operator, said their receiver has been damaged.

He said he contacted Channel i authorities in Dhaka but they are not showing any interest to replace the receiver.

Nazrul Islam of another cable operator -- AI Rashid-- said their receiver has been sent to Dhaka and Channel i will be restored within 2-3 days.

When contacted over phone, System Engineer Hasan Kamrul Rakib of Channel i said as per contact, it is the responsibility of cable operators to procure and maintain receiver.

"Flash Back is providing receiver to other pay channels, but they are showing apathy to this free channel", Rakib said.

When contacted again, the Flash Back GM said he told Channel I that if they (Channel I) do not provide receiver, his company would release other TV channel.

Whatever may be the case, Flash Back is duty bound to release Channel i, some customers commented.
