FIR not filed fearing reprisal

She alleged that Batiaghata thana police did not take any step after her husband filed four general diaries in the last two months seeking protection from of PBCP outlaws.

"We have no confidence in police investigation", said Akram Hossain, younger brother of Ali, who succumbed to bullet injuries at Khulna Medical College Hospital.

Meanwhile, Babu Panchanon Biswas MP, elected from Dakop-Batiaghata constituency, said police know who are killers of Ali. He warned police not to do "excess" in the name of combing operation, saving the real culprits.
