Two held for kidnapping jewellery owner
Police arrested a former activist of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and his accomplice on Thursday on charge of kidnapping a jewellery shop owner from Mirzajanagal and looting another shop in the area on Tuesday.
They are Ahmed Ibne Islam Chamak and his accomplice Hasanur Rahman Bab, also wanted in several criminal cases.
The kidnapped businessman --Nitaiwas however released by the captors after beating.
