Firearm recovered, couple held in B'baria
Police arrested a couple for possessing a gun and three rounds of bullets from Chayfullah Kandi village under Banchharampur upazila on Friday night.
A police team of Banchharampur thana headed by sub-inspector (SI) Kurshed Alam raided Kanu Mia's house at the village and recovered the gun and bullets. Police arrested Konu Mia, 30, son of Hiran Mia and his wife Hasu Begum. A court sent the couple to jail hajat.
A case was filed with Banchharampur police station.
