Transport leader beaten

Manikganj District Truck Owners' Association Secretary Shafiul Azam, also a lawyer in the district judge court and a Jubo Dal leader was beaten here severely by his associates for refusing to share with them the looted money amounting to Tk 1,50,000.

The toll plaza authority sources said Azam and his men in collaboration with truck workers beat up toll collectors and looted the money from cash box.
