Freedom fighter dies
Valiant freedom fighter Khondoker Abdul Majed died at his residence at Magura town Monday night from old age ailments.
He was 78.
Father of Liberation War martyr Khondoker Rashed, Khondoker Majed left behind two sons, four daughters and a host of relatives and wellwishers to mourn his death.
He was a former chairman of Magura pourashava and had organised a force called Majed Bahini during the Liberation war.
He was buried with state honour at the municipality graveyard after Zohor prayers yesterday.
