BNP, AL supporters attack rivals' party offices

BNP supporters became angry over 'objectional remarks' passed against Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, her son Tareq Rahman and local lawmaker Kazi Rafiqul Islam by AL leaders Shahadat Hossain and Mamunur Rashid at a party meeting in Chandanbaisha union on the day. They set on fire and damaged the union AL office in Sariakandi.

In retaliation AL supporters attacked the union BNP office and damaged it.
