One killed in clash over paddy harvest in B'baria
One person was Mojid Mia, 28, was killed and 20 others were injured in a clash over of paddy harvest from a khash land (government land) at Khaglia village in Nosirnagar upazila on Sunday.
Mojid Mia, 28, critically injured in the clash died while being taken to Brahmanbaria hospital. The rest were treated at the same hospital, police said.
The clash took place between rival groups led by Arafat Ali and Daulat Khan of the village.
Police visited the spot. None of the rival groups filed any case till yesterday, police said.
