Relief for Mymensingh tornado victims

The Minister distributed 250 bundles of CI sheets donated by the Dutch-Bangla Bank and sarees, lunghis and other relief items.

Mosharraf Hossain, minister-in-charge of Mymensingh district, went round the battered villages and inquired about relief distribution.

At Kaliani Kanda, the worst affected village, each family also got Tk 1,000 as house building grant in addition to other relief materials.

He also assured the victims that more relief would be distributed and asked the officials and local body leaders to ensure their proper distribution.
