Veteran revolutionary Binod Bihari Chowdhury, also a comrade of Mastarda Surya Sen opened the programme on Sunday afternoon.

Bangladesher Workers' Party Politburo member Haider Akbar Khan Rono, Bangladesher Communist Party (CPB) presidium member Monzurul Ahsan Khan, economist Professor Anu Muhammad, National Democratic Front (NDF) leader Ali Haidar, Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) convenor Comrade Khalequzzaman, NDF central leader Comrade Shyamol Bhowmik and poet Arun Das Gupa took part in the discussions.
