Lever Brothers builds modern OT at clinic

Lever Brothers Bangladesh Ltd provided 40 lakh taka to build the new operation theatre.

The new operation theatre was provided with advanced medical equipment including life support and anesthesia machines, hospital officials said.

Chairman and managing director of Lever Brothers Bangladesh Ltd Sanjiv Mehta attended the function as chief guest while editor of The Daily Azadi MA Malek was present as special guest.

Presided over by Dr Fazlul Karim, president of the executive committee of the hospital, the function was also addressed by Dr Khurshid Jamil, general secretary of Chittagong unit of Bangladesh Medical Association and prof Dr Nurunnabi, former director general of Health.

Besides, the old operation theatre was refurbished and a three-bed recovery room was built.
