Arms recovered
Brahmanbaria Sadar police recovered one cut rifle and one USA-made revolver in a raid in a house in the railway station area Friday night.
Acting on a tip-off, SI Noor Uddin Zahid made the raid, police said.
A patrol team found 14 cocktails in a bag, left in an abandoned condition in Bhadughar area of the town.
Police arrested 36 people from different areas of the district on the same night on different charges including murder, rape and theft.
