Newspaper office ransacked at B'baria
The office of a local Bangla daily, Dainik Projabandhu, was ransacked by some armed miscreants in the town on Saturday for publishing a news.
The attackers allegedly led by Helim Mia and Kazi Anu Mia damaged the press, computers and beat some newsmen, police said.
On information, police rushed to the office near the Sadar thana and arrested the two. Others escaped, police said. A case has been filed with police under the Speedy Trial Act.
