Correction
The IACIB, a local NGO in Nilphamari, has given a correction to its statement given earlier. It told The Daily Star in a report published on June 10 that the Ministry of Health had given it a grant of Tk 20,000 for a Filaria hospital run by it at Syedpur. The donated amount was actually Tk 2.5 lakh, it said in the corrected statement sent to The daily Star office yesterday.
