Dowry: Husband, his mother get life for murder

Additional District and Sessions Judge Shajhan Majumdar handed down the punishment to Alamgir, 32, husband of Rebeka Khatun, his mother Bedana Khatun,52 and his elder older brother Afangir Hossain,42 for strangulating his wife on April 18, 2001 at their Bibbi village home in Harinakundu upazila, court sources said.
