Tk 50 lakh fishes washed away in Patuakhali

About 125 shrimp enclosures and 150 pounds in Galachipa, Kalapara, Dumki, Dashmina, Bauphal, Mirjapur and in the Sadar upazilas have been inundated, according to administration sources in the upazilas.

Over 300 kutcha houses collapsed and crops on vast tracts of land in low lying areas went under water, they said.
