Korean mine worker killed in accident at Maddhyapara

According to police and project sources, Korean mineworker Tyak Ryak Young, 65, fell deep into the Loading Chamber Shaft (LCS) of the mine while he was engaged in lifting coal.

The accident occurred when his legs slipped into the chamber and he died instantly inside the hole of LCS.

His body was recovered on the same day. An Unnatural Death (UD) case was filed with Parbotipur police.

The authorities of the Korean Company took the body without conducting autopsy after taking permission from Dinajpur district magistrate.

The body was brought to Dhaka for sending it to his relatives in Korea.
