Fake journalist held

Fake journalist Azharul Islam Milon,35, son of contractor Abdul Mannan of South Tootpara in Khulna Thana was arrested by Dumuria police on charge of blackmailing Dr Mohammod Mohsin.

Dumuria Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Hena told The Daily Star, Milon branded Dr Mohsin a corrupt Medical Officer of Dumuria Upazila Health Complex and demanded Tk 500 from him.

Earlier, he pretended himself as the Khulna bureau chief of Bangladesh News Syndicate (BNS).

Dr Mohsin filed a case against him under Speedy Trial Act.
