8-hour strike in Rajshahi tomorrow

Rajshahi Traders' Allied Council (RTAC), an organisation of local traders, called the strike at a public meeting held in Laxmipur here on Thursday.

RTAC leaders demanded fulfillment of their demands within one month, otherwise, they threatened an indefinite strike after expiry of the ultimatum.

Chaired by RTAC president Mosharraf Hossain Akhunji, the meeting was also addressed, among others, by its vice presidents Haruur Rashaid, Farijul Islam and general secretary Farid Mamud Hasan.
