Dealership cancelled for corruption
Dealership of two Open Market Sale (OMS) rice dealers were cancelled for selling 1,000 kilogram of OMS rice secretly at Mugra union in Akhaura upazila on Thursday.
The corrupt dealers are Abdul Kasem and Aman Mia, according to sources in the UNO office.
Local people filed a complaint to Akhaura Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury against them. After an investigating they were found guilty, according to UNO office sources. Their dealership was cancelled and two new dealers were appointed is place of them.
