9 hurt in clash over land
At least nine persons including two women and a police officer were injured in a clash between the two groups of people, one led by Sheikh Shahjahan Ali and the other by Ataur Rahman, over disputed land at Nakipur village in Shyamnagar upazila on Friday.
Eight of the injured sustained serious injuries. They were admitted to Shyamnagar Upazila Health Complex in a critical state.
