Aman harvest begins in Gaibandha

But the scene is different in low-lying areas of the district where many farmers could not transplant Aman seedlings because the water remained stagnant and the sowing time was over. A monga situation is prevailing in those areas.

Gaibandha Deputy Commissioner Tapan Cahndra Majumder inaugurated Aman harvest at Fulbari village in the Sadar upazila on Monday by cutting paddy himself.
