Boy's freedom bought at Tk 10,000

Sumon Kumar, 10, son of fish trader Lakhmn Kumar of Putimari village in Sailkupa upazila in Jhenidah was abducted Sunday night. His captors demanded Tk one lakh ransom.

Police and family sources said Sumon was picked up from his house forcibly as his father did not pay Tk 50,000 toll.
