3 fishermen handed over to BDR
Three Bangladeshi fishermen were handed over to Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday. They are Delwar Hossain, 35, Kamrul Islam, 28, and Hasan, 30, all of Barguna district, according to BDR sources. The handing over ceremony followed a fruitful flag meeting between BDR and BSF in the Kholpetna river adjacent to the Sundarbans. BSF members intruded into Bangladesh water territory and took them to India two months back. Since then they were languishing in Alipur jail, India.
