However, sources in police department and Rab told that they were killed in crossfire during recovery of arms after their arrest.

Sixteen other outlawed criminals who were killed in crossfire are Shahidul Islam alias Kota of Chuadanga town, Mantu of Koatchadpur in Jhendiah district, Askar, Mahi and Boma Sahrif, Shaban alias Khokon and Jenarful of Bamonnagar in Chuadanga Sadar upazila, Kuddus of Juranpur village in Damurhuda upazila, Chuadanga, Rifat alias Kofil of Gargari, Hashem and Tiger of Khadimpur, Abdul Maleque alias Pavel and Uzzal of Atharokhada, Khabir of Alamdanga town, Bokul of Bhalaipur and Zia of panchkamlapur, Arif of Iswarpur villages in Alamdanga upazila.
