Santu Larma's call to help implement CHT accord

21-member new committee of HWF formed

A two-day annual council of Hill Women Federation (HWF), an associate organisation of Parbattya Chattagram Jono Sanghaty Samity, ended here on Sunday.

A 21-member committee of the federation was formed at the council. Choitali Tripura became president of the new committee while Mengoaching Marma became its secretary and Shwashwati Chakma became its organising secretary for the next one year.

Parbattya Chattagram Jono Sanghaty Samitry (PCJSS) chief and CHT Regional Council Chairman Jiotirindra Bodhipriyo Larma alias Santu Larma opened the two-day council on Saturday.

Santu Larma in his speech urged all to come forward to implement the Chittagong Hill Tracts accord.

Among others, PCJSS Secretary Chandrashekhor Chakma, Comra-de Rukonuzzaman, renowned woman leader and writer Shila Momen and leaders of PCJSS front organizations addressed the opening session.
