The convicts are Julhas Mia,50, Tara Mia,42, Nurul Islam alias Nuru,32, and Bhuttu Mia,30, all sons of Jonab Ali of village Chalk Shahabaddi under Sadar upazila in Sherpur.

The court acquitted 20 others of the charges.

The convicts killed Tazaru-ddin,50, by sharp weapons at Fakirgonj Bazar under same upazila in a feud over getting lease of Fakirgonj Bazaar on July 11 in 1998.
