7 Indians pushed back by BDR
Earlier, Border Security Force (BSF) of India from Boskotal camp under Notkobari Company Headquarters of 15 BSF Battalion pushed them into Bangladesh territory on Monday morning, BDR sources said.
The Indian nationals were Swadhin Hassan, 30, his wife Nazma Begum, 24, Alamgir Hossain, 32, his wife Halima Begum 25, their three children Sohel, 8, Tania, 6 and Suman, 4.
Before pushing the victims back to India, the BDR authorities and local public representatives provided them with warm clothes as they were suffering from severe cold. They were also given food and medicine.
Meanwhile, the BDR side has increased its patrol along the northwestern frontiers to foil any further push-in bid by the BSF.
