AL MP attacked in Modhupur
Awami League lawmaker from Modhupur Abdur Razzak was attacked and his car damaged Tuesday evening at Dhanbari in Modhupur upazila.
When contacted yesterday, the AL leader alleged that 10 to 15 'terrorists' including Chatra Dal and Juba Dal activists Shahin, Masud and Mohabbat attacked on him and injured them.
He said he was returning from Paiska after attending a discussion meeting organised by Bangladesh Chatra League(BCL) marking its founding anniversary.
He said the criminals obstructed his car at Dhonbari bus stand and attacked him.
Tofazzal Hossen, joint secretary of Modhupur AL, was also injured, he said.
