4 agitating garment workers held

The arrested workers are Shakil Ahmad, Anisur Rahman, Iqbal Hossain and Rokeya Begum.

According to witnesses, they were arrested when a few workers of Fair Knitwear Limited were demonstrating demanding salaries and Eid bonus.

Panchlaish police rushed to the spot and dispersed the agitating workers. Later, police arrested the four from the scene.
