10 Jubo Dal activists hurt in Patuakhali

The attack was a sequel to JCD factional feud, according to injured JCD activists.

According to JCD district unit Secretary Gazi Asfaqur Rahman, 15 Jubo Dal activists equipped with sticks and lethal weapons attacked the JCD men when they were on a discussion at Subidkhali Bazaar in Mirzaganj upazila. The ten injured JCD men include its secretary Idris Ali. Three of them were admitted to local upazila health complex but they left the health complex after a threat given by the Jubo Dal leaders after an hour. Other injured persons took treatment at different places privately.

Mirzaganj police denied to receive the case, claimed JCD leaders.

However, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station denied the charge.
