PBCP man lynched in Bagerhat
Bomaru Russel, 26, an alleged cadre of Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP- Janajuddho) was lynched by a mob at in the early hours of Tuesday at Putia village in Fakirhat upazila in Bagerhat district.
Police recovered two bombs and some leaflets of the outlawed party from the spot.
According to police, Bomaru Russel and seven others of PBCP were challenged by night guards while moving in the village. Night guards raised hue and cry, which drew villagers. They beat Russel dead. Others escaped.
Bomaru Russel was the son of Fazlu Howlader of Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur district.
Police said he was in charge PBCP's 'bomb squad' at Rupsha upazila in Khulna district.
