700 fall sick from food poisoning in Jhalakati

One person namd Hashem Majhi of Purba Malipur village invited people to attend the Chehlum of his wife on the day, according to police.

Most of the guests complained of stomach pain and were attacked with diarrhoea as soon as they took meals. Seriously affected persons were admitted to local health complexes and clinics for treatment.
