BDR-BSF flag meeting held
Barbed-wire fencing by BSF stopped
A Company Commander level flag meeting between BDR and BSF was held at bordering Akhaura on Tuesday against the backdrop of BSF's failed attempt to raise barbed wire fence on the no mans land.
The meeting decided that BSF would stop their attempts until they get permission both from Bangladesh and Indian authorities.
Bangladeshi team was led by Abdul Khaleque, Company Commander of 7 BDR and the Indian team was led by Nehar Sing,Inspector of 131 BSF battalion.
