Jailed for life for killing blind beggar

A court here recently awarded a person life term for killing a blind beggar, according to court sources.

Idris Munshi was convicted for killing Abdul at Charbachamara village in Shibchar upazila when he was returning home with his companion Liton from Dhaka on May 16, 2000 with Tk 2,000 he got through begging.
