India, Indonesia sign anti-terror accord
This was decided at the first meeting of the India-Indonesia joint working group on Counter Terrorism. It was held back to back with the second meeting of the India-Indonesia joint commission.
The meeting was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Combating International Terrorism signed between India and Indonesia on 2 July 2004.
The Indian delegation was led by additional secretary, ministry of external affairs, Ms Meera Shankar and the Indonesian delegation was led by Ambassador Rhousdy Surjaatmadja of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
