India, Indonesia sign anti-terror accord
India and Indonesia today agreed to reinforce cooperation in combating terrorism through exchange of information and intelligence, capacity building and mutual legal cooperation.
This was decided at the first meeting of the India-Indonesia joint working group on Counter Terrorism. It was held back to back with the second meeting of the India-Indonesia joint commission.
The meeting was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Combating International Terrorism signed between India and Indonesia on 2 July 2004.
