AL, BCL leaders among nine chargesheeted for extortion

Gaibandha police submitted the chargesheet against them under Speedy Trial Act.

The accused persons demanded toll amounting to Tk 10,000 from sub-registrar Mozahar Hossain at his office on July 3. On refusal, they misbehaved and threatened him of dire consequence.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and arrested them.
