2 outlaws killed in Pabna

Police said, Nifaz Uddin, a 'listed criminal' and an armed cadre of 'Lal Pataka' faction of the outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-ML) was killed allegedly by his comrades in a factional clash on Thursday. Assailants killed him with a sharp weapon at his house in Ataikula thana.

Police have suspected Nifaz might have been killed as a revenge of killing of another outlaw and 'listed criminal,' Jalil, killed in the same thana in a similar manner on Wednesday.

In another incident, the outlawed party activists allegedly chopped another person, Osman,30, of Tatipara bazaar in Sadar thana early yesterday. He was critically injured and shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
