JMB threatens to bomb Patuakhali Govt College

It's principal Quazi Shamsul Islam on Monday received a postal letter in the name of the Islamist outfit.

The letter addressed to the principal began with some Arabic words reading Bismillah Hir Rahmaner Rahim. The rest of it was written in Bangla which said: Free mixing of boys and girls does not mean acquiring knowledge. Your college will be bombed soon.

The principal showed the letter to newsmen at his office yesterday and filed a general diary (GD) with the Sadar thana.

Police have been deployed on the campus.
