Netrakona Sadar Hospital to be upgraded

State Minister for Home Lutfuzzaman Babor yesterday laid the foundation for the work, which will involve a cost of Tk 5 crore.

The work will begin soon and will be completed by the middle of next year, according to Netrakona Civil Surgeon.

Earlier on the day, the state minister opened a branch of Islami Bank at Chotto Bazar in the town.

The function was presided over by Kazi Harun-ur-Rashid, Chairman, Board of Directors of Islami Bank and addressed by, among others, Mohammad Abu Abbas MP, Netrakona Deputy Commissioner Hossain Jamil and Netrakona Pourasava Chairman Nazrul Islam Khan.
