Schoolboy abducted

The victim is Mehedi Hasan, 12, son of Babu Mia.

Police and the victim's family said a gang picked up Mehedi when he was going to a mosque near the house for Fazar prayer. Later they demanded Tk two lakh for his release.

When contacted, SI Rabiul Alom at the Sadar thana said, a general dairy has been filed and they are trying to rescue the boy.
